    Genesis

    The Kendriya Vidyalaya is run by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, an autonomous body formed by the Ministry of Education (H.R.D.), Govt. of India, New Delhi, in 1965, taking 20 Regimental schools. At present, there are 1093 schools, including 3 schools abroad (i.e., Moscow, Kathmandu, and Teheran). These are co-educational vidyalayas that primarily cater to the educational needs of the children of Central Government employees, including defense personnel liable to frequent transfers throughout the country and a floating population.

    K V No. 3 Bokaro is a Civil Sector School (under S.E. Railways Bokaro). Open on 01.11.1988, covering large areas and It has its own pucca grand building having spacious classrooms, a big library of good books, well-equipped computer labs, and a leveled playground surrounded by high boundary walls from all sides to provide a safe and suitable environment. It is a co-educational institution from class I to XII.
